WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE COUNSELING INTENSIVE LIKE?
The Marriage Momentum Program has two parts:
Part 1: Marriage Made Whole – A 2-Day Christian Marriage Counseling Intensive
This 16-hour, in-person intensive is equivalent to six months of traditional marriage counseling. It’s a focused, front-loaded experience that helps you access real tools for change right from the start—no more waiting weeks or months to make progress. This allows you to have the full benefits of all the modules at the beginning of the counseling process.
Most intensives are scheduled Thursday–Friday, but please let me know if other days will need to be considered.
Part 2: 6-Month Marriage Support & Coaching Plan
Healing doesn’t stop after the Christian counseling marriage intensive. This next phase allows you to stay on track with a wrap-around service of marriage counseling support. It includes:
Concierge access to me for continued support and encouragement.
9 individual sessions that you will schedule through my calendar link. These are typically every other week for the first 3 months, then monthly. This allows us to wean to once a month on the final 3 months.
Access to an exclusive membership portal with written curriculum, tools, video resources to reinforce your growth, and further action steps to continue practicing the new tools you received in the intensive.
This ongoing structure gives couples peace of mind that they’re not alone—and provides the accountability to sustain the momentum we start.

My name is Dr. Shanon Roberts. I work with couples to catapult them from feeling stuck and hopeless to finding healing, happiness, passion and love again with the partner they vowed “I do”. I empower them with tangible interventions, giving them the tools to influence change within their relationships and initiate momentum. By being able to identify their roles in negative argument cycles, we pave the way for vulnerable and connective conversations, fostering the opportunity for profound emotional, spiritual, and physical intimacy. This process encourages each partner’s willingness to actively engage, leading them to reclaim a sense of power in their relationship rather than passively observing.
Addressing the persistent question of whether change in possible or if the current state is the best it can be, my approach helps rewrite the neagtive narratives we often construct about our spouses.
